As well as the Art and Craft Ffair in Ystafell Idris upstairs, work from all our current members will be in the ground floor gallery and shop as usual.

Watch this space for more details of our birthday party. We hope you can join us.
See the Facebook Event page.

Some of the artists who will be at the Fair are shown below along with some information about their work.

Kiran Sharma : Kiran is another previous member of our cooperative. We are delighted to welcome her back for this event. The work she is bringing to the fair is on observation of the natural world and the human figure.

Carys Chester : Artist
A self-taught Artist with a passion for nature, old rambling buildings and woodland areas

Carys works mainly with acrylics on wooden boards but also likes to paint on more unusual surfaces such as old pallet wood or pieces of bark.  She turns smaller pieces of art on rustic wooden circles into cards and mini keepsakes.

Brenda Jones

Brenda lives in Llanelltyd and is better known locally as a runner than an artist, however her passion for rock climbing, mountaineering and fell running is very evident in her art.

Brenda likes to experiment with different media and materials, often using “found” materials particularly reclaimed slate on which she likes to paint slate workers.

Matias Watkins : Mati was a member of Celf Aran Arts until very recently. We are so pleased he will be able to come back for this event. He is a Finnish/English woodcarver, using naturally fallen wood. He carves beautiful and inspiring pendants, spoons and sculptures, drawing inspiration from folklore, mythology and dreams.

Tried and Turned : Fiona Powell
Fun hand turned wooden gifts from mainly locally sourced timber.

Celf Aran Arts is a cooperative of local artists and crafts people

who share space to showcase their work. We opened with 10 members in April 2014 and in the next few months more joined us so that by the end of that year we were 16 permanent members. We also welcome up to 3 guest artists to exhibit with us each month.
