Carys Chester : Artist
A self-taught Artist with a passion for nature, old rambling buildings and woodland areas

Brenda Jones
Brenda lives in Llanelltyd and is better known locally as a runner than an artist, however her passion for rock climbing, mountaineering and fell running is very evident in her art.
Brenda likes to experiment with different media and materials, often using “found” materials particularly reclaimed slate on which she likes to paint slate workers.
Tessa Robinson : Pressed botanical design.
Tessa’s interest in pressed botanical design stems from a love of gardening. Her pictures and cards are made with flowers, ferns, grasses, leaves and mosses. Tessa has exhibited her work in London at Burgh House, the Mall Galleries and the Royal Horticultural Society show, and in Worcester Cathedral.
Diane Elliot : Pyrography & paintings
Matias Watkins : Mati was a member of Celf Aran Arts until very recently. We are so pleased he will be able to come back for this event. He is a Finnish/English woodcarver, using naturally fallen wood. He carves beautiful and inspiring pendants, spoons and sculptures, drawing inspiration from folklore, mythology and dreams.
Valerie Lewin : Fern Enamels. Colourful and quirky enamel jewellery, handmade with joy in North Wales.
Jan Edwards : Crafty clocks & Gifts.
Quirky & unique, Jan transforms vinyl records with poured acrylic to make clocks that are truly individual. Jan also turns her hand to needlefelt pictures of animals being another of her passions.
Lois Grindy : Basketry
We’re delighted to welcome back Lois, another of our previous members. Although she is not making many big baskets anymore, she will be bringing hand crafted Easter baskets and bunnies.
Tried and Turned : Fiona Powell
Fun hand turned wooden gifts from mainly locally sourced timber.
Ollie Patricio : Printing & design
Ollie Patricio is a print maker and animator, living and working in Maentwrog, North Wales. She’s stepping away from kids TV-land for the weekend, to join us, and will have some old favourites, some new work, a selection of cards, sketch books, framed and unframed prints and maybe even something hot off the press
Jenny Hall is a quilter. She loves to make bags of all descriptions, cushions. quilts and mats. At present she’s really into making fabric pictures of animals using appliqué.
Celf Aran Arts is a cooperative of local artists and crafts people
who share space to showcase their work. We opened with 10 members in April 2014 and in the next few months more joined us so that by the end of that year we were 16 permanent members. We also welcome up to 3 guest artists to exhibit with us each month.
